LINCOLN PARK — There are more opportunities to check out Lincoln Park Zoo's fall fest this year.

The second annual family-friendly fest will kick off the weekend of Sept. 30 and runs every weekend through the end of October (plus Columbus Day), from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Last year's inaugural fest only ran for three weekends in October.

Like last year, there will be live entertainment, educational activities and rides, including a corn maze, 60-foot burlap sack slide on the main mall and a pumpkin carving station, to name a few.

Admission is free, but it costs $3 per ride ticket. Tickets can also be bought in groups of 10 ($27) or 20 ($51).

Throughout October, pumpkins will be for sale daily at the Pritzker Family Children's Zoo pumpkin patch. Pumpkins vary in price depending on the size.

For more information, visit the zoo's website.
