CHICAGO — Four men were killed and another 23 were wounded in shootings around the city between Saturday morning and Sunday morning, police said.

At 12:15 p.m. Saturday, 19-year-old Mahadi Hering was killed and two other people were hurt in a shooting in Park Manor, police said.

At 12:15 a.m. Sunday, a shooting in West Garfield Park left a 30-year-old man dead and two other people wounded.

Then, at 12:35 a.m., a 38-year-old man was shot dead inside Garfield Park.

Around 10 a.m. Sunday morning, a 45-year-old man was shot to death during an apparent argument in the South Loop.

• In the most recent non-fatal shooting, at 4:26 a.m. Sunday, a 32-year-old was shot while sitting on his porch in Hermosa.

• At 3 a.m., three men were standing on the sidewalk in the 8400 block of South Green Street in Auburn Gresham when a man walked up and shot at them, according to a police incident report.

One man, 32, was shot in his left arm, police said. Another man, 38, was shot in his stomach.

Both men were brought to Little Company of Mary Hospital, police said.

A third man, 25, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center after being shot in his buttocks and left ankle, police said.

Police could not provide the men's conditions but said all three were "stable."

• At 1:30 a.m., a 37-year-old man was sitting in his car in the 100 block of East 120th Street in West Pullman when a group of men walked up and shot at him, police said.

The man brought himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was considered "stable" after being treated for gunshot wounds in his right leg and left ankle, police said.

• At 1:20 a.m., a 28-year-old man was on the sidewalk in the 13000 block of South Ellis Street in Riverdale when a man tried to rob him at gunpoint then shot him twice in his right leg, police said.

The man brought himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was considered "stable," police said.

• At 12:15 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in the 7200 block of South Marshfield Avenue in Englewood, police said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

Police could not immediately provide any other details about the shooting.

• Also at 12:15 a.m., two men and a woman were standing at the corner of Sacramento Avenue and Arthington Street in North Lawndale when someone walked up and shot at them, police said.

The woman, 26, was shot in her chest, police said. A 27-year-old man was shot in his face and left leg, and a 32-year-old was shot in his left leg.

Police said all three people were taken Mount Sinai Hospital but could not immediately provide their conditions. 

• At 9:44 p.m. Saturday night, two men were standing in the 6600 block of South Vernon Avenue in Woodlawn when someone shot at them from a passing black car, police said.

One man, 18, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in good condition after being shot in his right leg, police said.

Another man, 20, was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center after being shot in both feet, police said. He was listed in good condition.

Police said the shooting appeared to be gang-related.

• At 9:30 p.m., a 33-year-old man was leaving a home in the 2000 block of West Maypole Avenue on the Near West Side when a man shot at him before driving away in a silver car, police said.

The man was brought to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition after being shot in his head, right arm and both leg, police said.

• At 6:50 p.m., a 50-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the 200 block of South Kildare Avenue in West Garfield Park when a man walked up and tried to rob him, according to Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The robber shot the man in his foot before running away, Lemmon said.

The man was taken to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 5:55 p.m., a 19-year-old man was riding a bicycle near the intersection of State Street and 120th Street in West Pullman when someone shot him in his leg and arm, Lemmon said.

The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was considered "stable," Lemmon said.

• At 5:26 p.m., a 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were walking in the 3300 block of West Fulton Street in East Garfield Park when they heard gunshots and felt pain, police said.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital and the woman was brought to Stroger Hospital, Lemmon said.

Both were listed in good condition after being shot in their legs, Lemmon said.

• At 5:12 p.m., a 16-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man were shot in their legs in the 2200 block of East 93rd Street in Calumet Heights, Lemmon said.

Both were brought to area hospitals and listed in good condition, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
