WEST GARFIELD PARK — A 30-year-old man was killed and two other people were hurt in a shooting on the West Side early Sunday morning, police said.

At 12:15 a.m., officers heard gunshots in the 4400 block of West Monroe Street, according to a police incident report. They arrived and found the man dead with a gunshot wound in his head.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Demarco Richards, of the same block.

An 18-year-old woman was shot in her left foot, police said. She was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was listed in good condition.

Later, a 25-year-old man arrived at Stroger Hospital with gunshot wounds in his buttocks and right ankle, apparently from the same shooting.

No one is in custody, police said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.
