LINCOLN PARK — An 8,000-square-foot mansion covering the entire 10th floor of a co-op building is Lincoln Park's most expensive listing right now — and it can be yours for $8.95 million.

Built in 1923, the home at 2450 N. Lakeview Ave., No. 10, offers four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two powder rooms and panoramic views of Lincoln Park and Lakeview to enjoy it all. It's accessible by private elevator.

There are custom details throughout the home like molding, trim and mahogany doors courtesy of designers Michael La Rocca and Marvin Herman. The gourmet kitchen comes with a wine cellar and two wet bars.

Other amenities include an exercise room, three storage rooms, an outdoor courtyard, a basketball court and a detached indoor park space.

It's the most expensive finished home in the neighborhood right now, according to the multiple listing service. But developers are asking more for a pair of lots to build custom mega-mansions.
