LINCOLN PARK — Cummings Playlot is the latest playground to get a makeover in Lincoln Park.

The improvements to the playlot, 2045 N. Lincoln Park West, will be paid for through the Chicago Plays! program, according to Ald. Michele Smith (43rd).

Smith, the Chicago Park District and Francis Parker Neighbors are hosting an upcoming public meeting to get feedback on two potential designs and suggestions on possible improvements.

The meeting is set for Aug. 23 at Lincoln Park Cultural Center, 2045 N. Lincoln Ave., at 6 p.m.

Smith said the goal is to install new playground equipment later this year.

Other playgrounds/parks in the neighborhood like the Bauler Park Playlot and Clover Playlot Park are also benefiting from the program.
