Pilsen Shooting Wounds 2 Late Saturday, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were shot in Pilsen Saturday night, according to police.

They were sitting outside in the 1800 block of South Carpenter Street at 10:52 p.m. when someone walked up and shot at them, police said.

The woman was shot in both of her legs, calf and foot, police said, and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

The man was grazed in his leg and was also taken to Stroger in good condition, police said. He is a documented gang member, according to police.

No arrests have been made.
