CHICAGO —Three shootings in Little Village since Saturday afternoon have wounded four people, according to police.

Most recently, a 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were wounded in the 2600 block of South Sawyer Avenue at 4:28 a.m., according to police.

They were sitting outside when a man came up and began firing, police said.

The woman was struck in her neck and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition. The man was shot twice in his back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

•An hour before that, at 3:34 a.m., a 19-year man was shot in Little Village, police said.

He was walking in the 2800 block of South Harding Avenue when shots rang out from a passing white car, police said. He was hit in both legs and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• A 17-year-old was shot at 4:55 p.m. in the 2500 block of South Francisco Avenue, police said.

The teen was in the street when shots rang out from a passing car, police said. He was hit in the groin, thigh and buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition.

No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
