LITTLE VILLAGE — A 23-year-old man was shot in his leg in Little Village late Monday morning, police said.

At 10:28 a.m., the man was shot in the 2600 block of West 23rd Place, about three blocks from the Cook County Criminal Courthouse at the intersection of 26th Street and California Avenue, according to Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, Trainor said.

No one is in custody, Trainor said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.
