WOODLAWN — A 16-year-old boy was shot to death in Woodlawn early Friday afternoon, police said.
The boy was shot multiple times at 12:39 p.m. near the intersection of 67th Street and Wabash Avenue, according to Officer Nicole Trainor, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Trainor said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified him as Delance Price, of the 6900 block of South Wabash Avenue.
Police said he was a documented gang member.
