CHICAGO — Three people have been killed and 11 wounded in shootings since Wednesday, police said.

• At 2:35 a.m. Thursday, a 21-year-old man was shot in the head and killed in Roseland.

• At 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, a 57-year-old woman was shot to death in Uptown. A man was also wounded in the attack.

• At 2:21 p.m., David Plank, 54, was killed in a shooting in Avalon Park.

In nonfatal shootings:

• At 2:14 a.m. Thursday, a 15-year-old boy was shot in Englewood.

• At 1:35 a.m., a 31-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery in Washington Park, police said. The man was in the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue when two men tried to rob him. The man grabbed one of their guns and he was shot in the hand.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 1 a.m., a 34-year-old man was shot in Chicago Lawn, police said. The man was driving in the 5900 block of South Kedzie Avenue when someone in another car fired shots at him.

The man's left shoulder was hit and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 12:56 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Chatham.

• At 12:30 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man walking out of a business in the 400 block of North Laramie Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man's left leg was grazed by a bullet. He took himself to Loretto Hospital in good condition.

• At 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, a 37-year-old woman was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The woman was in the 1300 block of South Independence Boulevard when she got into an argument with two men. One of the men took out a gun and fired shots at her.

The woman's right foot was grazed by a bullet and she was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 11 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Bronzeville, police said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 4700 block of South Michigan Avenue when someone in a black pickup truck fired shots at him.

The man was hit in the back. He took himself to Provident Hospital and he was transferred to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

• At 7:15 p.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in Englewood.

• At 2:40 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Englewood.

• At 11:15 a.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot in Englewood.
