HYDE PARK — The Promontory is looking for volunteers to help pack more than 1,000 meals for the homeless on Saturday.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Promontory, 5311 S. Lake Park Ave., volunteers will pack 1,000 lunches to be distributed to the homeless starting at noon.

There is a suggested donation of $10 to help cover the cost of food and materials.

The event is a collaboration with Hashtaglunchbag.
