Hawaiian Luau Coming To McKinley Park Sunday

MCKINLEY PARK — A Hawaiian luau is coming to the neighborhood.

The McKinley Park Farmers Market will host a tropical shindig Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. near the intersection of Archer Avenue and 37th Street.

Lanialoha Lee will perform "sounds of the Southern Seas" from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

The first 100 visitors who show up to the luau will receive a lei.

Organized by the McKinley Park Advisory Council, the market runs every Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., offering a variety of fruits, vegetables, fresh meat and coffee.

Most vendors accept debit and LINK cards.
