Watch Nerds Perform Acrobatics: Acrobatica Infiniti Circus returns to Uptown Underground for an "After Dark" performance. The variety show blends cosplay with circus acrobatics. The show includes: fire-eating, trapeze acts, juggling, hula hooping and comedy acts. General Admission tickets are $25 and available here. 8 p.m. Friday. 4713 N. Broadway.
Explore Community Gardens: The Institute of Cultural Affairs invites residents to explore the neighborhood's community gardens Saturday with the first installment of its garden walk. Buy Some Books: Friends of Bezazian will host a pop-up book sale Saturday in front of the Bezazian Branch of the Chicago Public Library to benefit the Uptown community and the library itself. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday. 1226 W. Ainslie St.
Explore Sheridan Park: The Uptown Historical Society will host a walking tour of Sheridan Park Saturday lead by local historian Martin Tangora. The tour will leave Baker and Nosh, 1303 W. Wilson Ave. at 10 a.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
Ari Brown Quintet at the Green Mill: Jazz saxophonist Ari Brown will bring his quintet, which features Dr. Cuz playing percussion, Kirk Brown on piano, Yosef Ben Israel on bass and Avreeayl Ra on the drums, to the Green Mill for a jazz session Friday night. 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. 4802 N. Broadway. $15.
Burlesque at Uptown Underground: Kiss Kiss Cabaret and friends will take the stage at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. General admission tickets are $25 and premium reserved tickets are $40. 10 p.m. 4713 N. Broadway.
