Little Village Shooting Wounds Man, 41, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Little Village left a 41-year-old man wounded Friday night, police said.

At 9:44 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2300 block of South Washtenaw Avenue when a man in a black van fired shots at him, police said.

The victim was hit in his left arm and right buttock. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

No one was in custody.
