LINCOLN PARK — More than 70 craft beers will be on tap at this year's installment of Chicago Craft Beer Festival.

The fest, now in its fifth year, will feature beers from both local and national craft brewers at Sheffield and Webster avenues July 23 and 24. The festival runs from noon-10 p.m., but tasting hours are from 11:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Pekish Pig, Forbidden Root, Fireman's Brew and Magic Hat Brewing Company are just some of the more than 35 participating breweries.

A one-day tasting pass ($35) will get you up to 15 three-ounce beer samples and a souvenir glass. In the event that the festival does not sell out, one-day tasting passes will be sold on site for $40.

Organizers have capped the festival at 2,500 tasting passes each day.

The beer festival will be held at the same time and location as the 48th annual Sheffield Music Festival & Garden Walk, where folks can get a tour of more than 100 of the neighborhood's lush gardens and learn about the area's architecture.

There will also be live music from Redfoo, The Mowgli's, Stephen Kellogg and The Bright Light Social Hour, as well as kid-friendly activities and food.
