CHICAGO — This month marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of Twitter, which was supposed to be a podcasting platform called Odeo but turned into a multi-billion-dollar entity with a little blue Tweety bird.
Some have mastered Twitter with creative Tweets and quality uses of emojis. Others, not so much.
To honor the 10 years of Twitter, which was created in March 2006 and officially launched July 15, 2006, DNAinfo took a look back at some of Chicago's most well-known Tweeters at their first Tweets. This site allows you to look at your very first Tweet as well.
