CHICAGO — A shooting in Little Village late Wednesday left a 16-year-old boy critically wounded, police said.
At 10:45 p.m., the teen was walking in the 2300 block of South Albany Avenue when a man walked up and fired shots at him, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The teen was hit twice in the stomach and in the left arm. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, Amezaga said.
No one was in custody.
