WEST LOOP — Swedish indie rock band Peter Bjorn & John, indie pop duo Ms Mr and Australian alt-rock band Atlas Genius are slated to headline a stacked lineup at Taste of Randolph in Fulton Market this weekend.

One of the city's most popular summer festivals, the three-day fest will take over a stretch of Randolph between Peoria Street and Racine Avenue from 5-10 p.m. Friday and noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Participants will be asked to give an optional $10 donation upon entering the fest. The donation benefits the West Loop Community Organization.

VIP tickets, which include access to VIP lounges, reserved concert seating, beer discounts and other perks, are also on sale.

The music

In addition to headliners, more than 50 music acts and bands will play the fest across three stages on Randolph this weekend.

Other acts include Nashville folk band Judah and the Lion, Irish singer-songwriter Soak, L.A. band The Dead Ships, the South Side's own Ravyn Lenae and Poi Dog Pondering's Carla Prather. A full day-by-day lineup is below.

As the fest celebrates it's 20th year, Taste of Randolph has teamed up with Visit Denver, Denver's Convention and Visitors Bureau, to construct a scale replica of the Red Rocks Amphitheater on site. Hand-sculpted to mimic the venue's monoliths and red sandstone striations, the Denver Live on the Rocks stage will feature national headliners who originated in Colorado and daily chances for festival attendees to win an all-expense paid trip to Denver.

On Sunday, four local Chicago bands — Zaramela, Akasha, Bailiff, The Ivorys — will play the WXRT “Road to Red Rocks” show, on the Denver Live on the Rocks Stage, to win a chance to perform at the real Red Rocks Amphitheater in July.

A full schedule is available online.
