PILSEN — Two young men were injured in a shooting Friday night in Pilsen, police confirmed. 

The men, who were 22 and 20 years old, were walking in the 1700 block of South Wolcott Avenue at 10:10 p.m. Friday when they heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police spokeswoman Bari Lemmon. 

The 20-year-old man was shot in his back and right arm. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Lemmon said.

The 22-year-old man was shot in his left arm. He was taken to University of Chicago, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Lemmon said.

The men were documented gang members, police said.
