RAVENSWOOD — Craft beer fans are going to want to clear their calendars for the inaugural Ravenswood On Tap beer festival, set for June 25.
The event brings together nine neighborhood breweries, Koval Distillery and a bevy of food trucks and musical acts in one place, 3-9 p.m., outside Empirical Brewery's taproom at 1801 W. Foster Ave.
Admission is $5, with beer tickets and food purchased separately. Expect a 12-ounce pour to set you back $6.
The participating breweries are: Andersonville Brewing, Aquanaut, Band of Bohemia, Begyle, Dovetail, Empirical, Half Acre, Metropolitan and Spiteful.
Proceeds benefit the Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and the Bowmanville Community Organization.
