JEFFERSON PARK — Renowned Blues guitarist Lurrie Bell will perform as part of a fundraiser for the Jefferson Park Chamber of Commerce.

The Brews & Blues event will take place from 7-10 p.m. June 3 at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence Av.

It will feature a craft beer tasting and a performance by Bell and his Chicago Blues Band. Bell has been nominated for a Grammy Award and has been ranked by the Tribune among the best blues guitarists in Chicago.

Tickets, which are available online, are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, organizers said.

Proceeds from the event will fund the chamber's beautification projects and scholarship program, organizers said.

Participating breweries include Portage Park's Lake Effect Brewing Co., Finch's Beer Co. and Lagunitas Brewing Co., organizers said.
