THE LOOP — Furious Spoon is the newest restaurant opening inside Revival Food Hall, a big food court debuting this summer in a vintage Loop office tower.

The Wicker Park ramen shop said Wednesday it is opening in the 24,000-square-foot food hall at 125 S. Clark St., a century-old office tower designed by legendary Chicago architect Daniel Burnham. Chicago-based developer Blue Star Properties acquired the 20-story tower, the former headquarters of Chicago Public Schools, in 2014 and is renovating the office space into a project called The National.

Blue Star's plans include Revival Food Hall, a street-level collection of 15 food "stalls" curated by 16" On Center, a hospitality group behind the restored Thalia Hall, The Promontory in Hyde Park, and other places. Furious Spoon will join Antique Taco, another Wicker Park export, a coffee shop and record store in the food hall.

Furious Spoon will sell four different kinds of ramen with toppings including bean sprouts, marinated mushrooms, roasted garlic, bamboo and beef brisket. The ramen bowls range from $7.25 to $13.

The food hall's opening date has yet to be announced.
