Washington Park Shooting Wounds 41-Year-Old Man, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting in Washington Park left a 41-year-old man wounded on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

At 1:06 p.m., the man was in the 5200 block of South Prairie when he was shot in his leg, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

No one was in custody in the shooting. No further information was available.
