CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were wounded in a Little Village shooting Thursday morning, according to police.

The two were in the 2700 block of West 24th Place at 11:10 a.m. when shots rang out, said Officer Nicole Trainor, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The 19-year-old was struck in his left leg and the 17-year-old was struck in his left arm, Trainor said. They managed to get themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital. Their condition wasn't released, but they were listed as "stable," Trainor said. Police did not have any more details on the extent of the man's injuries.

No arrests have been made as the investigation is ongoing, Trainor said.
