Calling All Vinyl Collectors: CHIRP Record Fair Saturday

WEST LOOP — Looking to score some unique vinyl finds? 

More than 100 vendors will be selling new and used vinyl, CDs and more at the 14th annual CHIRP Record Fair and Other Delights from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at the Plumbers Hall, 1340 W. Washington St. in the West Loop. 

General admission tickets to the fair, the biggest in the Midwest, are for sale online for $7, and early admission tickets, giving collectors first dibs from 8-10 a.m., are $25. 

Guest DJs Impulsive Hearts, Matthew McCarry of 1980 Records and Bossa IV, Herb Rosen of Rights of the Accused/Liar's Club will be spinning tunes at the fair and the Vinyl Spa will be on hand to clean new purchases. 

West Town Bikes will provide bike valet service and eats and drink will be for sale from Moxee, Dark Matter Coffee, New Belgium Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Great Lakes Brewing and Mad Mouse Brewery. 

All proceeds benefit CHIRP Radio, a listener-supported community radio station in Chicago staffed by more than 150 volunteers.
