Robbers Strike Twice at Chase Bank ATM Near Pete's Fresh Market

NEAR WEST SIDE — Two people were robbed at gunpoint near a Chase Bank ATM on the Near West Side earlier this month. 

In the incidents, which occurred at an ATM at the Chase Bank branch at 2317 W. Madison St., two to three men approached the victims while using the ATM, displayed a handgun and and robbed the victims, Chicago Police said. The ATM is in the same strip mall as a Pete's Fresh Market.

The incidents occurred at: 

• 3:35 a.m. April 1 at the ATM location, 2317 W. Madison St.  

• 6 a.m. April 1 at the ATM location, 2317 W. Madison St.  

The offenders are described as two to three male blacks, 20-30 years of age and weighing about 160 pounds. The men were driving a dark colored SUV and were armed with a handgun, police said.
