ALBANY PARK — A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg early Tuesday morning while driving in Albany Park, police said.

Around 2:15 a.m., the man was looking for parking in the 3100 block of West Carmen Avenue, just west of the River Park soccer field, between Albany and Kedzie avenues, when a silver car drove up and someone fired shots from it, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, Pacheco said. Police could not provide his condition but said he was "stable."

No one is in custody, Pacheco said.
