WICKER PARK — Elevenzees, a gift shop with a wide range of housewares and baby items, is moving and hosting a clearance sale, according to signs in the storefront's window.

Elevenzees, 1901 W. Division St., is owned by a mother-and-son team, Patty and Chad Johnson.

Patty Johnson did not respond to request for comment Tuesday regarding further details or when the sale plans to end. State records show that Elevenzees dissolved its business license on Jan. 18.

A clerk who answered the phone at the shop Tuesday said the sale will last until all of the inventory is gone, and that there are no plans for Elevenzees to relocate elsewhere in Chicago.

The owner of nearby Tres Bien Nails, 1939 W. Division St., who wished to use only his first name of Mark, said he was saddened by Elevenzee's impending exit.

"You don't want to see anyone leave. They have been here a long time, long before us. I hope it fills up quickly because we don't want another vacant storefront. It looks like a prime spot," he said.

According to a handwritten sign in the window, Elevenzee's clearance sale hours for this week are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday; noon to 6 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
