LITTLE VILLAGE — A 22-year-old man was hurt in a drive-by shooting in Little Village late Monday morning, police said.

Around 10 a.m., the man was standing in the 2800 block of South Komensky Avenue when someone shot at him from a passing dark sedan, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, Estrada said. Police could not provide his condition but said he was "stable."

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

No one is in custody, Estrada said.
