UPTOWN — A new spot for Ethiopian cuisine is headed to Wilson Avenue.

"Opening Soon" signs and a new awning for Tesfa Ethiopian Cuisine now adorn the former Lake Langano restaurant at 1023 W. Wilson Ave. Tesfa will have carry out with limited dine-in options.

News the restaurant would be opening in the former Ethiopian-Chinese food spot was first reported by Uptown Update.

According to the Chicago Reader, Lake Langano opened in 2012. It was set-up primarily as a take-out spot with a few seats at the counter.

Tesfa will join local spots Osas African Restaurant and Uptown Pizza and B.B.Q. on the strip of Wilson Avenue between Kenmore Avenue and Sheridan Road.
