BUCKTOWN — Vividbraille, an independently-owned design label and men's clothing store, will be closing its Bucktown storefront March 31, and everything is on sale.
Located at 2064 N. Damen Ave., vividbraille opened in 2011 and replaced Daniel's Antiques.
Beginning Wednesday, everything — including screen printing equipment, antique furnishings and an industrial sewing machine — in the store will be at least 50 percent off, said designer Brock Willsey, the shop's owner.
Sale hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The space has not been officially rented out to a new tenant yet, Willsey said.
"We are taking our label 100-percent digitally online. I'm ready to pursue some other opportunities and to do something different and get a little more freedom," Willsey said.
Willsey said all of the shop's vintage furniture, screen printing equipment, sewing machines and store fixtures are for sale, plus clothing and accessories.
Items for sale include an industrial Juki sewing machine and a vintage Singer sewing machine, a vintage bankers desk and jewelry cases, a set of five antique movie theater seats, Ikea shelving, couches, wooden chairs, and more, Willsey said.
