LINCOLN PARK — The Chicago Food + Wine Festival is not coming back to Lincoln Park this year, according to reports.

Sources told the Tribune that the festival, which debuted last year, won't be back until 2017, citing "scheduling conflicts."

Food blog Eater later confirmed the information with an organizer. A spokesman for the festival did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Last year's inaugural fest was hit with bad weather, which negatively affected turnout.

The fest brought famous chefs like Graham Elliot, Stephanie Izard and Rick Bayless together for tastings, workshops and more.
