Teen, 20-Year-Old Man Shot on Porch of Little Village Home, Police Say

CHICAGO — A teenager and 20-year-old man were shot and wounded in Little Village on Saturday, police said.

At 10:35 p.m., the 17-year-old and 20-year-old man were standing on the front porch of a home in the 1600 block of South St. Louis Avenue when someone in a red SUV fired shots at them, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The 17-year-old was shot in his left leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said. The 20-year-old man was shot in his buttocks and right leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

No one was in custody.
