WICKER PARK — There might be 50 ways to leave your lover but on at least one day each year, there are just as many ways to cement your love, too. Or to celebrate your singleness.

To get in the spirit, we put together six ways to get your love on locally this Valentine's Day:

For poster art fans:

In honor of Valentine's Day, Noble Square's Deadly Prey Gallery will be unveiling an exhibition of hand-painted Ghanaian movie posters centered around the theme of love and heartbreak. "Since the late '80s, movie poster artists in Ghana have given a lot of attention to making highly dramatic posters around this theme, often extra outlandish & puzzling, always beautiful and especially unique," the shop posted on its Facebook page. Gallery hours are 2-8 p.m. Saturday. Deadly Prey Gallery, 1433 W. Chicago Ave.

For the good humored:

A "Lonely Hearts Collection" mixes broken hearts, chapped lips and boozy champagne truffles. "Just because they don't look perfect (sometimes s--- happens) doesn't mean they don't deserve your love. Come visit us, because it's in store only and half-price because there's only one of you," Veruca Chocolates posted on Facebook. Want to buy non-broken pieces? Try a hot pink box with 18 pieces divided into bon bons, caramels and truffles. Hours at Veruca Chocolates Bucktown', 2409 N. Western Ave., hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays. Hours at a pop-up in Southport Grocery, 3420 N. Southport Ave. are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursdays-Sundays.

For the frugal procrastinator:

Maybe you are already predicting that time will get the best of you. So why not promise your boo on Sunday night an I-O-U for a home cooked meal on Monday or later in the week? Previously known as Wholesale Monday, Local Foods has changed the name of its discount Monday shopping event to Customer Appreciation Day. On Monday, you can get 50 percent off micro greens, lettuce, radishes and more locally grown produce. From 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday, 1427 W. Willow St.

For early bird lingerie shoppers:

Lingerie shop Journelle has partnered with Flowers for Dreams to give away a free mini bouquet with any purchase on Saturday, while supplies last. Journelle hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, 1725 N. Damen Ave.

For the Shakespeare buff:

Red Theater Chicago's American Sign Language production of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" has been extended to Feb. 20 because "R + J: The Vineyard," a modern take on the classic where both of the star crossed lovers are deaf, continues to draw crowds. Free performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays-Sundays, plus there is a $10 7:30 p.m. Monday show too. The Den Theater, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave., 3rd Floor.

For fans of a traditional holiday:

Wicker Park florist Asrai Garden, 1935 W. North Ave. will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sundays. Costs range from a single stem rose for $6-$8, to $50-$200 for a delivered bouquet featuring an array of fresh flowers. Pre-ordering bouquets to ensure the best selection of flowers is recommended. Call 773-782-0680 to place an order. Stop by the shop for jewelry, soaps, candles, incense and more gifts.
