2 Killed, 3 Wounded In Shootings Across Chicago Since Thursday, Police Say

CHICAGO— Two people were killed and three others were wounded in shootings in Chicago since Thursday, police said. 

At 7:40 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Austin, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. 

A shooting in Humboldt Park left one man dead and another man wounded Thursday, Estrada said.

In non-fatal shootings:

• A man was wounded in a West Pullman shooting on Thursday, police said. 

• At 11:00 a.m. Thursday, a 55-year-old man was shot during a fight in Lakeview, Estrada said.
