SOUTH LOOP — Lululemon Athletica has closed its South Loop store.

The athletic apparel company on Jan. 26 shuttered its shop at the Roosevelt Collection, an apartment/retail complex at 1146 S. Delano Court West, a voicemail message by the store confirms.

Lululemon, known for making yoga pants and other apparel, still operates five other stores in the city, including one in the vertical mall at 900 N. Michigan Ave. and another at 930 N. Rush St.

Spokespeople for Vancouver, B.C.-based Lululemon and Prudential Real Estate Investors, the latter of which owns the Roosevelt Collection, did not immediately return messages seeking comment.

South Loop blog Sloopin, which first reported the closing Monday, said it appears LensCrafters is moving into the closed Lululemon store.
