5 Wounded in Shootings Across Chicago Since Thursday, Police Say

CHICAGO— Five people, including two teens, were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Thursday, police said.

• Most recently, a 17-year-old was wounded in a shooting in Bridgeport on Thursday night, police said. 

• At 7:30 p.m., a 40-year-old man was struck in his left arm in Pilsen when someone in a gold-colored car shot at him, Estrada said.

• At 5:30 p.m., a 35-year-old man was walking in the 800 block of South California Avenue in East Garfield Park when he was shot in the left arm, Estrada said.

• At 1:40 p.m., a 35-year-old man was walking in the 7100 block of South Seeley Avenue in West Englewood when he was shot in the left arm, Estrada said.

• At 12:50 p.m., a 17-year-old teen was walking in the 9100 block of South Laflin Street in Brainerd when he was shot in the hand, Estrada said. 

The teen, who police said is a documented gang member, was taken to Christ Medical Center where he was listed in good condition, Estrada said. 

No one is in custody for any of the shootings, Estrada said.
