GARFIELD PARK— A man was wounded in an East Garfield Park shooting on Thursday, police said.
At 5:30 p.m., a 35-year-old man was walking in the 800 block of South California Avenue in East Garfield Park when he was shot in the left arm, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The checked himself into Stroger Hospital where he was treated and released, Estrada said.
No one is in custody for the shooting, Estrada said.
