Armed Robbers Strike 3 Times in Little Italy

LITTLE ITALY — Police are warning residents after three robberies at gunpoint that occurred in Little Italy at the end of December.

In the incidents, two to three young men approached a victim on the street and robbed the victim while displaying a handgun, according to Chicago Police.

The robberies occurred in:

• the 1400 block of West Roosevelt Road on Dec. 22 at 5:30 p.m.

• the 1300 block of West Grenshaw Street on Dec. 25 at about 10 p.m.

• the 1500 block of West Fillmore Street on Dec. 25 at about noon

The offenders are described as two to three African-American men, 17-23 years of age, weighing between 145-165 pounds.
