Bullets Pierce Pilsen Home During Holiday Weekend

PILSEN — During a shooting incident early Saturday, bullets pierced a nearby home in Pilsen.

At about 1 a.m. Saturday, neighbors reported hearing a series of gunshots in the 1900 block South Miller Street in Pilsen. After responding, Chicago Police recovered 12 shell casings at the scene, according to a law enforcement source.

One round of bullets were recovered in the living room of a nearby apartment, neighbors confirmed.

No injuries related to the incident were reported, according to a law enforcement source.

A neighbor reported a similar shooting incident occurring in the 1900 block of South Miller Street in an EveryBlock post in November.
