The man was brought to Stroger Hospital, Sedevic said, where his condition "stabilized" after he was treated for a gunshot wound in his back. Polie could not say what condition he was in.

• Around 1:15 a.m., a 48-year-old woman was riding in the passenger seat of a car in the 5600 block of South Green Street in Englewood when she heard gunshots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

The woman was brought to Saint Bernard Hospital, where she was listed in good condition with a gunshot wound in her buttocks, Sedevic said.

• Around 12:10 a.m., a 40-year-old man was inside an apartment hallway in the 4000 block of South Calumet Avenue in Bronzeville when someone announced a robbery and shot him in his leg before fleeing, Sedevic said.

The man was brought to Mercy Hospital then tranferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said. She could not say the extent of his injuries.
