LAKEVIEW — If you survived the first weekend of Halloween festivities, you're probably ready for round two. Lakeview bars and theaters are cramming in the spooktacular fun, and we've got the run-down on where you should be:

Halloween parties:

[Headquarters Beercade]

Headquarters Fearcade: Between the two vintage beercade locations in Lakeview, 2833 N. Sheffield Ave., and River North, more than 500 people are expected at Headquarters' "Fearcade" party on Saturday. A costume contest will have a $500 grand prize, with $100 for second place and a $50 bar tab for the third-place winner. The 90 arcade and pinball games will be buzzing and chirping, while fall cocktails will be offered at the bar.

Nightmare on Seventh Street: SEVEN, part of the trio of night clubs that replaced Spin at 3206 N. Halsted St., will host two Halloween parties. On Friday, gogo dancers will have a good vs. evil battle royale during an Angels vs. Demons party. Starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, SEVEN will host a Nightmare on Seventh Street party that lasts until 3 a.m. and includes a costume contest at 8 p.m. and gogo-dancing ghouls.

Halloween Massacre: Hydrate, 3458 N. Halsted St., will be open during and after the Halsted street parade with DJs and gogo dancers. Winners of the costume contest will be announced at 7 p.m., with $250 in cash and prizes on the line. There's a $10 cover after midnight. Grammy-nominated house DJ Ralphie Rosario will host from 11:30 p.m.-5 a.m.

Smart Bar Gets Flashy: Smart Bar, 3730 N. Clark St., will kick off Halloween festivities at 10 p.m. Friday with a show by Paradise Queen! featuring Glenn Underground, Michael Serafini, Garrett David and Brian Borden. Tickets are $10 before midnight and $15 after. On Saturday, Smart Bar will be decked out in disco balls, balloons and garage disco classics in an homage to dance music and disco history.

'American Horror Story' Party: Kit Kat Lounge and Supper Club will kick off its Halloween party at 5:30 p.m. Diva Kinley Preston will host as the Countess, played by Lady Gaga on "American Horror Story: Hotel." A costume contest will start at 11 p.m. with $1,000 in cash and prizes, and the bar will be serving up creepy Halloween cocktails. For reservations, call 773-525-1111.

Newport Costume Party: Newport Bar and Grill, 1344 W. Newport Ave., will host a costume party Saturday. A $200 cash prize will go to the best individual costume, while the best group costume will get $500. An optional $20 drink package will be available from 9 p.m.-midnight, and drink specials include $4 Bud Lights and Fireball shots, $5 Stoli cocktails and Barcardi bombs.

Trick-Or-Treating and Family Fun:

Halloween on Northalsted: From noon-3 p.m. Halloween, the Northalsted Business Alliance will treat neighbors to a host of tricks and treats. A pumpkin-carving contest starts at noon, followed by a family and pet parade at 1:30 p.m. at Roscoe and Aldine. Halloween art will be chalked on sidewalks from Newport to Cornelia, and Triangle Neighbors will throw a party at Space Park, 815 W. Roscoe. The Jesse White Tumblers, Mary Macaroni, Randy the Magician and the Chicago Spirit Brigade will perform, and a Ruby Red Relay starts at 3 p.m.

The 19th Northalsted Halloween parade will start at 4 p.m. at Belmont and Halsted and travel north. Participants can compete for the best costumes in four categories: scariest, drag, group and theme. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m.

Entertainment:

[Public House Theatre]

Bye Bye Liver: For the fifth year, Public House Theatre, 3914 N. Clark St., will show its special Halloween edition of "Bye Bye Liver." The show itself is $20, but a $35 ticket includes a three-hour drink package from 8-11 p.m. Drink specials include $14-$20 buckets and $5 "spooktacular" shots. The sketch show celebrates all things alcoholic and is also interspersed with interactive social games. There's also one weekend left to see Public House's "Babysitter Massacre '78: The Musical," a high-camp 1978 high school horror which will run at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday before closing. Tickets are $20.

Scream Girls: It's the final call for "Scream Girls," a spooky hourlong comedic set playing off the "Dreamgirls" musical that was eventually made into a movie starring Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson. Tickets are $15, and shows start at 8 p.m. Friday at Hydrate Nightclub, 3458 N. Halsted St.

Splatter Theater: A parody of "Friday the 13th," "Splatter Theater" promises plenty of gory fun at Annoyance Theatre, 851 W. Belmont Ave. From drills to the head to tongues pulled out, the white walls that start off the show clean surely won't end the same way. Shows will be at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday, and tickets are $20 or $15 for students.

Halloween One Act Festival: Stage 773's third installment of its One Act Festival will get downright ghoulish Friday with a two-hour special Halloween edition. Seven theater companies will share a single stage at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., with stories that will scare your pants off. Tickets are $15.

Free Storytown For Costumed Kids: Weekly Storytown performances of improvised children's theater at Stage 773 will be treating audience members this Halloween: Patrons who come dressed up will get in free to the 10:30 a.m. show at Stage 773.
