Top Comedians Take Stage for Pilsen Stand Up at Simone's Wednesday

PILSEN — A team of Chicago comics who regularly perform at comedy clubs across the Midwest will take the stage in Pilsen Wednesday night.

Chicago comics Jaime de Leon, Mickey Housely, Sydney Adeniyi, Amy Shanker and Abi Sanchez are slated to perform at Pilsen Stand Up Wednesday night at Simone's Bar, 960 W. 18th St. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show kicks off at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Cover for the show is $5.

The goal of the shows is to bring a diverse and talented group of comics to the Pilsen neighborhood, Sanchez said. He hopes to expand the event to a biweekly comic showcase in the coming months.

The Pilsen Stand Up event runs every third Wednesday of the month at Simone's Bar.
