CHICAGO — It's back to work for the Blackhawks.
But before the Blackhawks begin their regular season Wednesday against the New York Rangers in hopes of winning their fourth Stanley Cup in seven years, here's a look at all the places hockey's most prized trophy traveled to.
Blackhawks players and staff took the trophy throughout the Chicago area, up to Canada and across the Atlantic a few times.
Highlights from Stanley's journey this summer include:
• Residents of West Rogers Park's Misericordia were surprised by a visit by Jonathan Toews and the Cup the day before the 2015 season started.
• Former Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp took the Cup to the beach in Connecticut with his family.
