UNIVERSITY VILLAGE — A 15-year-old boy was in critical condition after being shot in University Village Sunday night, police said.

Around 9:20 p.m., the boy was standing outside in the 1300 block of South Racine Avenue when someone shot at him, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The boy was taken to Stoger Hospital with gunshot wounds in his shoulder and neck, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody, Sedevic said.
