NORTH PARK — Here's an excellent reason to head back to school: Northeastern Illinois University is inviting the public to a free outdoor screening of "Pitch Perfect 2" on the quad Thursday night.
What better setting to enjoy the a capella adventures of the fictitious Barden University's Bellas in this follow-up to the 2012 sleeper hit "Pitch Perfect." Stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson return for the sequel.
The movie, which is rated PG-13, will start at 7:30 p.m. Bring a picnic, blanket or lawn chairs and possibly a sweater — temperatures are forecast to dip into the 60s.
