PILSEN — Dusek's Board & Beer in Thalia Hall is now open for lunch on weekdays.

Citing a demand from the neighborhood, the restaurant, at 1227 W. 18th St., will now open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Dusek's lunch menu includes fan favorites from the beer-focused weekend brunch and dinner menus, as well as brand-new dishes.

Among other items, the new lunch menu includes the Juicy Lucy, featuring a Slagel Family Farm beef patty, red onion-bacon marmalade, heirloom tomato, butter lettuce and beef fat frites ($15); oyster po boy, with shredded lettuce, pickles and house mayo with Old Bay on a New England split roll ($14); and fried chicken served with creamy grits, collard greens, hot sauce gel and aerated ranch ($15).

Dusek's is also serving up its version of the lunch combo. The Lunch Ordinary ($15) includes a sandwich of the day paired with a Moody Tongue's Thalia Hall Pilsner beer and a “back to work” coffee.

The restaurant opened in historic Thalia Hall in September 2013. In addition to new lunch hours, the restaurant is open 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. weekdays and Sunday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturdays.
