CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was wounded in a Pilsen shooting Saturday night, police said.

Around 6:20 p.m, the man was standing outside in the 1900 block of South Leavitt Street when an SUV approached and a gunman stepped out and fired shots before leaving, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was shot in his back and taken to John H. Stroger Hospital in fair condition, Estrada said.
