Summer Dose Market To Feature 100 Artists and Makers Sunday

WEST LOOP — Dose Market is celebrating its four-year anniversary by bringing more than 100 vendors together for a massive market Sunday.

The Summer Dose Market, which will feature more than 100 vendors, will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at Venue One, 1034 W. Randolph St.

Pre-sale tickets are still available for $8. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $10. Kids are free.

In addition to shopping the vendors on site, shoppers 21 and older will receive one drink ticket.

In addition to on-site eats and drinks, the summer market will bring artisans from across the city to sell their wares in one place. This month's Dose Market includes art, music, prepared food, pantry items, confections, gifts, jewelry, men's and women's new and vintage designer clothing and accessories, home décor, furniture, body care, beauty products, children's items and much more. 

Dose Market will welcome more than 25 new businesses to their roster, including:

• made-in-Pilsen footwear from Solid State

Solid State footwear, made in Pilsen, will be for sale Sunday at Dose Market. [Dose Market]

• Molosco ceramics and vertiginous fabrics from Chicago artist Laura Letinsky

• a new line of wood serving boards and trays from Uncommon Handmade

• small-batch cookies from Jeanette's Cookies

• art books by Phaidon

• textile-based works of art from Prophet Gypsy Robot

• the Uptown Bike Rack from Uptown Design Studio, a modern bicycle storage solution that doubles as a work of art

• Simple Mills' gluten, grain, dairy, soy, and emulsifier-free almond-flour baking mixes

• on-site palm readings from Principe Palmistry

• the Chicago Boutsikakis brother's organic, cold-pressed Manaki olive oil

• the release of Heritage Bicycle's new tandem bike

Heritage will release their new tandem bike and will be offering tune-ups on the spot at Dose Market Sunday. [Dose Market]

• Production Mode, a line made of eco-friendly, vegetable tanned leather from Chicago tannery Horween printed in Chicago by artist Nora Renick-Rinehart

Veteran Dose Market vendors will introduce new products at the market, too, including new Black Label Exclusive jams from Rare Bird Preserves, raw silk kimonos from Argaman&Defiance and the launch of lighting by SOLO Home Design.

Matthew Hoffman of You Are Beautiful has designed a photo backdrop to display at the Smilebooth photo backdrop at Dose Market Sunday and Mr + Mrs Smith will be giving attendees the opportunity to win vouchers for free travel. 

Floral design studio Floraison will have arrangements for sale at Dose Market Sunday. [Dose Market]

Launched in the West Loop four years ago by April Francis, Dose Market brings together designers, chefs, bakers, entrepreneurs and artists to exhibit their wares at curated events.
