20-Year-Old Man Stabbed During Party in Pilsen, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was stabbed during a party in Pilsen early Sunday, police said.

Around 4:45 a.m., the man was stabbed in his abdomen during a fight at a party in the 1800 block of South May Street, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was taken to University of Illinois Hospital where his condition had stabilized. The 20-year-old is expected to be transferred to John H. Stroger Hospital, Cooper said.

No one is in custody, and no further information was available.
